Warner Bros. Discovery Beats Lawsuit Over Superman Rights

This Superman movie honestly doesn’t look good enough to fight for the rights of it anyways. I remember seeing the trailer when it came out and laughing out loud for how bad it looked- the way that the camera is set up makes his face look utterly insane, the flying is badly done and rushed CGI, and everything about it screams cheap and childish. However, I understand why Warner Bros. would be upset anyways, if they do truly have the rights to Superman. Copyright law is one of the biggest things you have as a company, and without it technically anyone could copy a film with a bigger budget and maybe slightly better CGI or well-known talented actors- making people like the copy better than the original. It’s dangerous for Warner Bros, and in their position I would have done something similar even if the film was bad. However, I really think that they should have broached the subject way earlier into the film process, rather than by the time the movie was basically released.
