As a shock to absolutely no one I did absolutely horrible on this quiz getting a jaw dropping 50% as someone who has been so occupied with my local theater bubble and theater on an international scale it is no shock to me that this year the broadway season slipped through my mind. Most of what I know about this broadway season is either from years prior or newspage articles. I think this quiz has shown me how much I truly pick and choose my articles and cater them towards immersive and youth theater which is often not seen on broadway. In future year I intend to keep a closer eye on the new Broadway seasons, especially the plays which tend to always fall through the cracks. I hope that the shows that were on these famous New York stages this season tour so more people like myself can continue to get acquainted with them.
I took the quiz and got 71/115 which honestly is higher than I expected. I think that this is a super fun way to spread knowledge without people even realizing that they are learning something new. A lot happens in this industry so it can be super hard to be caught up on everything that is happening all of the time. A lot of what I learned I knew because of these comments which is pretty cool. Gotta love it when something works as intended. I was surprised to learn that SHUCKED doesn't have a location specified. I assume it's somewhere in the Midwest just because you know… corn. Other than that I made educated guesses on what I didn't know. I always enjoy learning when a cast has gone all the way with a piece to Broadway. I think its cool that one team works together for so long on one show, through all of its changes.
