Sky-High "Dynamic" Adele Ticket Prices Sting "Verified" Fans

www.ticketnews.com: After much speculation and a full day’s delay from its original plan of going out Tuesday, the presale for Verified Fans to Adele’s Weekends With Adele residency in Las Vegas went off Wednesday. Organizers never formally released any ticket prices, but speculation was that the average for the room would likely be at least $4-500 per seat, with prime locations going for far more.

I remember hearing about this on Tiktok (as such is the way to get news these days) about how the ticket prices for Adele were obscene. It seems that with each new concert that happens, the ticket prices get higher and higher in quite frankly alarming amounts. What also interests me is, as seen in this article, is the fees. While they don’t directly talk about it in this article, the fees for ticket sales are going up, which adds to the ticket price. Gone are the days of cheap fees that were maybe less than 10-15% of the ticket price, with the one image showing that the fees were over $140 on top of a $453 ticket price (which is 30% of that ticket). I recently bought a ticket for an event that cost an additional $25 on a $70 price, which is over 30% of that ticket. It seems that we are far past the days of set ticket prices, and it only breeds a scalpers market with insane upcharge prices on already expensive tickets.
