Play About Proposition 8 by Dustin Lance Black
NYTimes.com: "A new play based on the Proposition 8 trial over same-sex marriage in California, written by the Academy Award winner Dustin Lance Black (“Milk”), will be performed in a staged reading on Broadway in September and then produced at Carnegie Mellon University, Northwestern, the University of Michigan, and elsewhere."

Definitely excited for this. While the District Court trial was happening, I was reading the transcripts and watching the live-action reenactment for my Interp final paper and thinking just about how it would make incredibly compelling theatre. The Broadway reading creative team makes me want to see it there, but I'm definitely excited to have the chance of working with Rory O'Malley at CMU. When will we get details about this project?
