Play pulled over questionable content
WHDH-TV: The play is about a storyteller who tells a bedtime story to children about two high school sweethearts who fall in love and get married. But the bride and the groom interject with their own realities. The storyteller then reformulates the story to say the groom takes up with a drag queen, the bride dies of a “somewhat accidental [drug] overdose,” and then the groom is “dragged to his death...by homophobic rednecks,” according to the play.
