Hottest venues at this year's arts festival really H-O-T
Post Gazette: "The 10 discarded shipping containers that line Forbes Avenue between Market Square and Stanwix Street as 'immersive art experiences' seemed a cool idea when festival officials decided to introduce them to the city this year as part of an answer to limited exhibition venues."

apparently the heat inside the containers isn't the only thing people are complaining about. in my wanderings through market square, all i've heard people say about the art is how bad it is and how half-done it looks. being on the other side of the fence (an employee for the festival), i know that most of the artists didn't finish their pieces - some are still working on them during festival hours.
in other news, Norm's giant praying mantis turned out really well. it's been windy enough that it actually moves on its own.
