Albee expounds on playwriting

Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "'It's just a quirk of the brain that makes one a playwright,' says Edward Albee, a man who knows a thing or two about writing for the stage. 'I have the same experiences that everybody else does, but since I have this quirk in my head, I am not content with that. I feel the need to translate a lot of what happens to me, a lot of what I think, into a play.'"
