Actors Theatre will honor 'Women of Spunk'
Courier-Journal: "Zora Neale Hurston was a woman who overcame cultural barriers. Author of three stories adapted by Kentucky native George C. Wolfe into the Obie Award-winning musical 'Spunk,' Hurston was a published author and anthropologist in the 1930s and 1940s, a time when black women's career opportunities were severely limited."
