I'm not sure how much this is going to change things for the reality tv show. Sure, this specific show is a reality tv show, but just barely. Its really more of a game show that you get to see a little behind the scene rather than a game show where the behind the scenes are the game show. If most of the IATSE workers are hair and makeup, etc. then I don't know how much of a victory this really is for the union.

It is strange how this show started in a hotel hall, and how is a huge production with multiple locations and huge staff. I'm a ANTM fan! I just always assumed anything that was large enough to make it to season pick up had to be unionized. The process to get unionized is hard, and as a arts manager, I thought it would be few and far between that new theaters for shows would become union, but after reading these posts, I realize that this is something we will have to deal with.
