IATSE Donates Funds to Assist Members Affected by Hurricane Harvey
Stage Directions: Due to the devastation caused by Hurricane Harvey, the IATSE will donate $10,000 to the Walsh/DiTolla/Spivak Foundation to provide financial assistance to affected IATSE members and their families. Local unions and members of the IATSE are asked to contribute what they can to the Foundation, enabling affected members and their families more flexibility to cope with the challenges created by Harvey.

Having worked with people who both want to become members of IATSE or who already are members; it is very nice to see that IATSE is a leader in the union world. They are very giving to those who are members and even set up great guides for people and companies who are not yet or not aligned with IATSE. I love the fact that they have even announced to help those affected by Huricane Harvey and in having a look into the community that is IATSE; I have no doubt that many people will give to the fund as well. It really shows that theatre is a community and that everyone is significant, important, and remains unforgotten.
