NE(s)T
The campus community is invited to a special School of Drama design event Wednesday May 9th from 4:00-5:00 in and around the Purnell Center. The project, NE(s)T, is a collaboration between designers in costumes, scenery and lighting design. It takes as it’s inspiration Aristophanes The Birds and presents some of the play’s themes re-imagined for our world today. In June, the project will be taken to Prague for Scenofest ‘07, a quadrennial celebration of theatrical design by students from around the world. Meet in the lobby of Purnell for installations and performances that begin at 4:00 in the Wells Video Studio and end on the cut outside the building.
