This, to me, is one of the coolest developments in live event lighting and tech in the past ten years. Not only does it create incredibly cool, immersive designs for events like this, it is a really creative and new way to light and design large events. I also like this, and drone integration, because it's a super new and creative way to add to large events. Lighting and production design is certainly a massively creative industry, but at a point, in lighting you're limited by products, positions, and general capability. But by having a stellar creative team, and enough money you can practically create anything new and inventive. Especially with the onslaught of new tech coming in the past 10 years, who knows where the tech we're using in the industry will grow and develop in the future. Regardless, I'd love to be able to work with it some day.
