For someone with a little bit of professional experience, this article is one to grow one. As an “artist” I have terrible business sense. I love doing theatre and often I am willing to do it for less money. Do not tell my potential employers that. It is tough to negotiate about something you care about. I can negotiate over cars and muffler repair but I have a hard time asking for more money for what I do. I am convinced that if I go out on my own. Or any theatre person who wants to start a theatre organization, they need someone with a mind for business along side them.
