Its exciting to know that some shows on Broadway are still making money and not looking to shut down quite yet. It's amazing that it came from being written during college to breaking a house record.
The revival of West Side Story using Spanish seems like a very cool way to update and twist the show. Hopefully WSS is able to do well when it makes it to Broadway.
I think it's so exciting that a truly original musical can survive still on Broadway. I'm also excited to see the new talent that is coming to Broadway. Lin-Manuel Miranda is certainly an impressive individual for not only his performance in the show, but his ability to create what he did. I'm also very excited to see what he does with the new spanish lyrics in West Side Story.
