Lord of the Rings' musical has none of the films' spark
Honestly, what was the real reason for doing this production? Just because it was a blockbuster hit doesn't menan it is going to be a theatrical masterpiece. It seems the only reason for doing this production was because of the market value. This in my opinion can be deemed as "Deadly Theatre". Theatre that we go to just to go to. There may be no reason to be there, the only reason may be just to say you were part of the action. There is no substance in this. It may be a wonderfully staged show but substance and insight is what I strive to learn from a piece of work
