You could start by combing the National Theater’s stage adaptation of “Emil and the Detectives,” which may just be the most kids-intensive production I have ever seen. That’s saying a lot in a theater capital that is also showing “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory,” “Matilda” and “Billy Elliot,” three musicals that give pride of place to many a pint-sized tyke.
