San Francisco's Wild SoundBox Is a Symphony Like You've Never Heard Before

WIRED: For more than three decades the San Francisco Symphony has performed in Davies Symphony Hall, a 2,600-seat auditorium with the type of grand architecture you’d expect to house a world-renowned orchestra. At this imposing building kitty-corner from San Francisco City Hall you might hear a Beethoven piano concerto, Handel’s Messiah, even a live performance of the John Williams’ score for Raiders of the Lost Ark, as the film is projected on screen.
