One NYC StageHand: "What's so funny about an amusement tax? So the Gov wants to tack on 4% to tickets and Hizzoner wants to tack on another 4%. “Everybody's gettin' inta da act!” For this they did away with term limits?"
First, I'm very happy that this blog was posted - the guy has some very interesting things to say - whether it be about IATSE regulations of past and present - or LED technology of the future. Secondly - this tax is bull! Even more reason for people to stay away from the theater.
