Peace Alive! an event happening at the Mellon Institute April 8, is a celebration of the human potential for positive change present in each one of us. Peace Alive! features the great Chinese poet , Huang Xiang. Huang Xiang, has been called a “Wild Beast Poet”, and a “Poet on Fire” who burns as a lamp of freedom and enlightenment. He was frequently tortured and spent twelve years in Chinese prisons for writing his free-spirited poetry and for his advocacy for human rights in
