We can learn so much about the past through clothing and the techniques used to make the garments of the time. I love it when creators aren't afraid of showing off their work, inspiring other crafters to learn from each other. My favorite dress of the three is the green spotted dress, I could see myself wearing it on a nice day in Schenley Park. I’ve always wanted to make these historical-style dresses, but the amount of fabric required for a full skirt alone is enough to break the bank for a broke college kid let alone the different undergarments needed to fill out a dress. Maybe someday I will be able to make an outfit inspired by these dresses that will make me feel as pretty as this creator looks in her creations. And I will hopefully be as proud of my craft as any of the people who post their fashion online and share my own creations online.
