The title of this article really doesn’t do it justice- this article is great! The author has a lot of personality: “Our project involved an on-the-verge-of-adulthood-feminine-room.”
While I really liked the old Victorian wallpaper on the room, the glitter paint definitely modernized the room. Don’t tell Dick, but I actually liked the paint. I do think it would have done better as an accent, instead of on the entire wall. I worry that after a while, the specks of glitter will start to look grimy. On a light color, like the pink, the different colored glitter was very apparent. On a darker color, like the navy blue, I thought it blended in better.
The author provides a lot of information on the wallpaper stripper, the paint, and tips on how to apply each. They also gave the tip on sanding down the surface if applying a coat of paint on top of the glitter. If I ever need to refurbish a room, I’ll consider glitter.
