Nonprofits Help Actors with Housing Crisis

Backstage: "When the strike by the Writers Guild of America hit in November, actor Austen Parros needed immediate financial assistance. In one month, he went from turning down offers and appearing consistently on the TV show South of Nowhere to receiving unemployment checks and facing foreclosure on his house in Lancaster, Calif."
