Marketing Inflatable and Balloon Signage

Sign Builder Illustrated - April 2008: One thing you can't miss when driving down the street is a giant inflatable or balloon display bobbing up and around in front of a business. Unfortunately what most sign builders do miss is what these particular "floaters" can do for their own businesses.

It's weird how some things can seem so obvious but nobody really gets it. I think the principle of this article applies to a lot of businesses and practices within them where they miss the easiest and most impacting solution because they're so used to doing the same kinds of things. I often wonder if there are any that many companies left in the world that strive to make creative solutions for every customer.

at least these things don't blink and jump and make loud noises. there's nothing worse than annoying TV ads or flash popup ads with the volume cranked to 11.

i think this may spark a new wave of creative advertising, utilizing 3D objects that people can get a really good look at and take interest in

I'm one of those people that will really only buy something if you don't sell it to me. Like the people pushing campus activities on us as we walk past the fence, I just don't respond well. This kind of thing just makes me feel like a company is doing so poorly that they need to flash a shiny object in front of you to make you buy a product. I'm not a cat.

I am just fascinated with the magazine style of this article. I think it can keep some people entertained for a while just flipping pages. And with the companies producing the similar items over times can be really understandable, since that is what they are most comfortable with. And after all it takes less money to build them since they don't have to get new resources each time for a new customer.
