Among Chicago's Theaters, The House Is on Fire
NPR: "'Chicago theater.' The words fit together neatly, as they have ever since the first performance — tickets 75 cents — by the Isherwood and McKinzie Theatrical Company in 1837."

its so nice to hear about something like a new theatre company. its a change from what were used to,the strikes and all, but its especially nice to hear about a group of people who all went to college together and then all went on with no money and only hope and talent to create a successful theatre company in a new theatre mecca like chicago. not only is the feat of a new theatre an interesting prospect but also an inspiring one for kids our age who potentially feel like a change might be nice... props to them for making it so far...
