An Israeli Arab Muslim Reporter's View of Democracy and the Palestinian Authority

Khaled Abu Toameh is an award-winning, independent journalist who was born in Tulkarem (in the West Bank) and has covered Palestinian issues in the West Bank and Gaza for over 20 years. He began his career writing for an official Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) newspaper, while studying at Hebrew University of Jerusalem

Toaneh, Senior Editor on Palestinian Affairs for The Jerusalem Post, is a frequent contributor to BBC News, NBC News, US News and World Report, and Danish television.

This program, with diverse co-sponsorship, promises to include a frank, fascinating discussion about democracy, freedom of the press, Israel, and the Palestinian Authority.
