Wow, there is a lot going on in this article. I can kind of see the argument for the bill. Making it easier to follow similar safety standards across states seems like a good idea. However, making it so that the more stringent protocols don't need to followed, as opposed to making it so that the most stringent safety protocols need to be followed will undoubtedly lead to more workplace incidents. Safety standards are extremely important to worker's safety, and are without a doubt necessary. When we see someone advocating for safety standards to be lowered for some reason, it is a red flag warning to look at the motivations in place.
