New York Production Incentives Lure High-Profile Projects
Variety: Over the years, New York has hosted a slew of high-profile productions, including “The Dark Knight Rises,” “The Avengers,” “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” and “Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles.” Benefits have been significant. “Dark Knight” alone hired 8,600 locals for cast and crew, and spent more than $14 million in the real-life Gotham.
