Program Notes | Pittsburgh City Paper: It’s the final week of performances for this Pittsburgh-premiere staging of Stephen Adly Guirgis’s The Motherfucker With The Hat — and a good time to note barebones’ unique spot on the local theater scene.
I just saw this yesterday! I already loved the show and I thought it was a pretty great production of it. I knew nothing about Barebones so it is amazing to hear that it is run by one person. It is also remarkable given how good the production value was. I am curious if this will become more of the norm for companies. Where the infrastructure of a company will dissolve and it will just be one person that hires out all of the things they need.
