Playbill.com: "Philadelphia Theatre Workshop, devoted to new works by local writers, begins its sixth season Nov. 21 with the world premiere of Alex Dremann's dark comedy The :nv:s:ble Play."
What an interesting idea for a play that explores a relevant topic in a new way. To actually have characters vanishing is a really sobering yet whimsical way to look at our current economy. It is comforting because we know that people do not physically "vanish", but it is scary because we have all felt the feeling of people around us "vanishing" as they get laid off and must move on. I imagine this would be a very effective way to communicate an idea.
