Bloomberg.com: Arts and Culture: "The Shubert Organization’s board of directors is scheduled to meet tomorrow to select a new leader, who will oversee its 17 Broadway houses and $300 million foundation."
It must be a big job being “one of the most powerful figures in American live entertainment”. This article makes the chairman of the Shubert organization sound like a succession to a throne of power. I imagine the meetings and politics amongst the board of directors to be something out of a Shakespearean play. Members trying to poison each other with swords tips soaked in poison and attempted murder of firstborns and what not.
