Rock Band Smoke and Light kit makes illusion of coolness complete

DVICE: "Hey, all you non-musicians! The video game Rock Band has just been launched into the next level of poseur-dom. Pretend like a pro with this smoke and light effects kit from Performance Designed Products."

I think it's a good idea. When so much of this rock band is about living and playing like the rock stars, why not bring that atmosphere out from the t.v. screen and into the home. We all know that normal consumers would not outfit their basements with professional grade light and haze equipment, frankly because I feel they would have no idea how to actually do it. This alternative allows them to make it happen.

This seems a little excessive. Do you really need smoke and lights to play a video game??? Sure this is cool new technology but do we really need this??

this is amazing! I need this. Next time I turn 21 i will have to get this. I think it might set off our fire alarm or really piss off our neighbors, but oh well. They already get pretty pissed at the kick drum. But really, i wonder if the fog and lights are timed programmed with the songs, so they are different for each song.

There is going to be a mom's against rock band group pretty soon. this is absolute excess, I agree with Katherine.

this is ridiculous. i can't believe some of the time and technology that goes into video games these days. the entire industry seems to be replicating the "reality" of fame, fortune, and other absurd desires. it just surprises me that this amount of effort would go into making an already lame game even "cooler".
