however, i think they should be spending their time on ACN now. it's really the data protocol of the future of entertainment systems. it's more computer networking based, allowing it to use existing infrastructures and cabling - something contractors will be happy to hear.
since it's tcp/ip based... add in WiFi! fortunately, i wasn't the first to think of this. it's already been done. new ACN compatible devices are supporting wifi out of the box, completely eliminating the need for cabling!

now if we can only do wireless power.....
