Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: "The artistic director of Opera Theater of Pittsburgh was searching for a suitable venue in which to present 'Djamileh' (the 'D' is silent), an obscure opera by Georges Bizet set in the Arab world."
I think an Opera being performed in an Antique store provides a lot of unique qualities to a type of performance we normally associate with grand theatre spaces. I think it will be challenging especially for the singers who will have to adapt their voices to the more enclosed space.
