 This year's MOMENTUM festival at City Theatre, taking place this weekend
(Thursday through Sunday), includes a number of CMU students and alumni,
including Stuart Carden, Chase Newell, Adam Berry, Kyle Beltran, and Tyree
Robinson. MOMENTUM is four days packed with new plays, lively discussions, a
free writing workshop, and socializing with artistic colleagues from around
the country. It's always a great and fun weekend.

A hip contemporary score is the soundtrack to a couple's musical romance
from an inauspicious first date through the unforeseeable ups and downs of a
lifelong relationship.

Speak American
written and directed by Eric Simonson

In 1904 Pittsburgh, immigrant steelworkers struggle to learn the language
and ways of a new home and country, while their young English teacher learns
a lesson of her own in the dehumanizing tactics of Big Steel.

Theatre's Mainstage in May 2009.

Tensions mount in the modern conflict of nature vs human nature when three
