Music Review - Opera and Theater Stars in ‘Show Boat’ at Carnegie Hall

NYTimes.com: "Carnegie Hall is justly renowned for its splendid acoustics. Yet because the sound of Isaac Stern Auditorium, the hall’s principal performance space, is so warm, rich and present, using amplification there has typically been a challenge. Like a prickly diva, Ms. Carnegie recoils when microphones and speakers are set up on her stage."
