Before reading this article, I never realized how much Shakespeare was performed in Chicago. This column highlighted some interesting new adaptations of Shakespeare's works, but I would have preferred to know more about what these shows (how they adapted/interpreted Shakespeare the way they did) instead of just ticket prices. On the other hand, the history of the rise of Shakespeare in Chicago was also informative.
