Tait Towers to Renovate and Transform The Colosseum Stage at Caesar's Palace
Lighting&Sound America Online - News: "Tait Towers is responsible for the stage renovation and transformation in the 4100-seat Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas. The 2008 music season kicks off February 20th with Bette Midler's The Showgirl Must Go On and will be followed by Cher and Caesars Palace alum, Elton John."
what i found surprising in this article was the fact that they wanted to create a space without all the bells and whistles of high technology that is everywhere in las vegas. i think it is a great thing to try to make the shows look more sophisticated as this is a place where the entertainment business is constantly growing.
ReplyDeleteAfter seeing the models that Dave showed us in class of this space renovation, this is a really interesting project that I'd like to follow. It seems that they have a lot of things in mind and I'd like to see where it ends up going in the future.
