Beijing production of Martin Luther Kings stars Chinese man in lead
Boing Boing: "A 27-year-old American woman has brought the Martin Luther King story to China. King is played by actor Cao Li, who kind of looks like the civil rights hero."
I think this casting is really something that Martin Luther King would himself appreciate, since it shows a sort of blurring of racial boundaries. However, I would be interested to learn whether any other aspects of the show were changed in accordance, which was not mentioned in the article.
