Orestes development
Time Out New York: "Given Johnston’s contemporary bent, his new project is surprising: an adaptation of the Oresteia, Aeschylus’ 5th-century-B.C. chronicle of the fall of the house of Atreus, directed by Stephen Speights for Blue Coyote Theater Group. But Johnston, 42, hasn’t abandoned his knack for subversion. His Oresteia gives Aeschylus’ mythically unhappy family—Clytemnestra, Agamemnon, Orestes and Electra—an up-to-date spin that is sure to leave them dizzy and reeling."
