Subject: Invitation - 3rd Annual Bioimaging Day at CMU on Wednesday, February 21
Dear colleagues and students,
The Center for Bioimage Informatics and the Department of Biomedical Engineering cordially invite you to attend the 3rd Annual Bioimaging Day at CMU.
This event will take place next Wednesday (February 21, 2007) in the Singleton Room, Roberts Engineering Hall, from 9 AM - 5 PM.
Bioimaging Day will feature:
- Presentations by biological researchers who are generating (or plan to
generate) images in their experimental programs.
- Presentations by computational researchers who are developing and using image analysis and machine learning methods.
- Presentations on new technologies and infrastructure for image generation, storage, and analysis.
- Discussion sessions to initiate new collaborations.
CMU hosts world leaders on both the biological as well as computational sides of bioimaging. We hope that this annual meeting will foster collaboration and will further strengthen CMU's leading role in this interdisciplinary arena.
An agenda is attached to this email. Registration is not required and entry is free.
We are looking forward to welcoming you to a stimulating day full of exciting poster presentations and talks!
With our best regards,
