Interesting choice... Personally I think those helmets on the lions look kind of... well... I'll just leave it at that... ridiculous! I think it's the mix of the old style statue all stone looking (although they said they're bronze... perhaps the pictures just make it look stone) with brand new shiny helmets... looks really out of place in my opinion
ReplyDeleteAnd all we did when we went to the superbowl was throw a terrible towel around a dinosaur's neck. It is also kind of cool to see what kind of other work is out there besides specifically theatre. Designing giant football helmets to put on statues of lions for example.
ReplyDeleteI have a picture of those lions from a trip to chicago. i gave my friend a magnet with them on it....
ReplyDeletei feel like maybe they're sacrificing some of the 'majesty' of the lions by dressing them up for the superbowl...
but in Texas, football is a religion, so who am I to talk.....
A great as they look, I feel bad that all that hard work will have to go to waste when the Colts win this Sunday…they do look rather dashing though.
