Technical Direction - Paperwork Project

HardWorkingTDStudent(2:38:07 PM): what is a drawing index for the paperwork project

EProf (2:38:23 PM): an index of drawings?

EProf (2:40:02 PM): this is a form, that would tell you what was on each drawing of a drawing packet

HardWorkingTDStudent (2:42:34 PM): ehh?

EProf (2:43:01 PM): so you're the TD of a show

HardWorkingTDStudent(2:43:06 PM): ok...

EProf (2:43:13 PM): and you have this huge pile of draftings

EProf (2:43:24 PM): and you want to know what is on each of them

EProf (2:43:31 PM): without going through the whole stack

EProf (2:43:37 PM): so you make up a sheet

EProf (2:43:44 PM): that has the plate #

EProf (2:43:45 PM): title

EProf (2:43:47 PM): content

EProf (2:43:53 PM): and maybe the draftsman

EProf (2:44:06 PM): as an index to the drawings

EProf (2:44:10 PM): drawing index

HardWorkingTDStudent(2:44:29 PM): so its like a form of what would be on the title block

EProf (2:45:29 PM): with maybe a short explanation if it isn't totally clear from the title

HardWorkingTDStudent(2:45:36 PM): cool

HardWorkingTDStudent(2:45:41 PM): one more question

HardWorkingTDStudent(2:46:49 PM): for something like the accident report, should we make it more like a university school form or something for a normal theatre

EProf (2:47:34 PM): something that goes with the rest of what you're doing

HardWorkingTDStudent(2:48:48 PM): ok

HardWorkingTDStudent(2:48:49 PM): thanks

EProf (2:48:56 PM): np
