TECHNICAL SUPERVISOR : La Jolla Playhouse seeks full-time Technical Supervisor to work in busy Production Office, producing a six show season which includes major musicals, workshops and new plays in three venues. Applicants must have, strong supervisory, communication, budgeting and scheduling skills with at least 2 years of technical direction experience in LORT or Off Broadway Theatre. Responsibilities include, advance planning, integration of major design elements, implementation of automated scenery and computerized motion control, liaison with high-end scene shops and vendors, administration of production budgets and schedules, supervising and coordinating shop and backstage crew.
