Pittsburgh Tribune-Review: Little Lake Theatre's "Tuna Does Vegas" was worth the wait. The production that opened -- or, more accurately, reopened -- Thursday night had me laughing so hard and often that my cheeks hurt. ReplyDeleteThe only of the Tuna plays that I have read is "Greater Tuna". It is hilarious. These guys are creative and fearless in their comedy. What I love about their work, based on my small experience with it, is that it's good-natured and straight up fun. Some people don't like doing "fluffy" theatre, but I think that it's important to produce a show every once in a while that exists to make people laugh. We take ourselves too seriously sometimes. This type of show is so much fun and can speak to an audience member just as much as a serious, intellectual piece, especially if that person needs a good laugh or a little relief.
