Seattle Times Newspaper: "Should certain plays be placed on an endangered species list? That's the rallying cry of a new Seattle theater troupe, The Endangered Species Project, composed of established professional actors and directors.
An interesting concept. I am inclined to like the idea, although I think it must be treated carefully. Hopefully the company will be considering why these plays are "endangered," and each play in the series will get due consideration. That a play is "endangered" is not alone a legitimate reason for production. I assume there is more to this series and how plays are chosen; it is important fiscally and artistically.
