Backstage: "The Screen Actors Guild has announced that members have approved a two-year successor contract to its Basic Cable Live Action agreement by a vote of 93.71% percent to 6.29% percent."
It's good news that amongst all the bad press for organized labor, it seems like something has been resolved as it should have. The two sides were able to negotiate and avoid a strike. The workers have some leverage to match the scale of the employers, but the new agreement sounds sustainable all around.
