This type of scenery is so cool, I love the realistic elements that involve actually finding WWII trucks and making them work on stage, or building a full scale model of a plane that can roll in any direction on the stage. The creation of nontraditional non planar surfaces such as the dune is also something that really interests me, and I think looks incredibly cool on stage where we are used to flat, platforms, stairs, rakes and ramps, non planar floors are really cool.

ReplyDeleteThat's pretty impressive. I can't imagine taking a model airplane and making it full scale. We had enough problems making the dinosaurs work. Perhaps it's much easier when you're working with metal? The yardosaur tended to eat itself due to swollen, wet wood and dinky little legs.
