If these organizations aren't more amenable to compromise and let another strike happen it will be incredibly upsetting because it means that the writers strike will have been ineffective. While I'm not sure that I agree with the extremity of the strike in the first place, I would like to see all that effort make an impact on the industry and make people more cautious about provoking another strike in the future.
