Memorize Anything
Wired How To's: "For any type of memorization, it's important to realize that the human brain works very differently then external storage devices (slips of paper, a computer, etc). It recalls nearly exclusively by association. That's the bad news, it's very hard to recall a condensed sliver of information associated to nothing at all by rote."
I like reading about stuff like this because I don’t really think about it too much. I really have a problem remembering names when I first meet someone, and I think the rhyming thing could really help, just as long as I don’t say them out loud. I am a bit confused by the numbering system, it seems there would e a better way, but I hate that I am dependent on my phone for all my contact info, and I should start memorizing some of the important numbers.
