Yahoo! News: "Johnny Depp is the latest A-list actor to fall victim to the WGA strike. The actor was scheduled to film 'Shantaram' -- Warner Bros. and Initial Entertainment Group's adaptation of the Gregory David Roberts novel -- in the winter, but that project has now been postponed."
I definitely think that this will be a trend. As actors see their options getting smaller with the writers strike as the scripts run dry there will be a movement to find work elsewhere. Actors will support the writers but will need work still.
ReplyDeleteI think Johnny Depp can take some time off and not have to worry about his gas bill. I think it’s funny that a newspaper would choose to write a story about Johnny Depps lack of work. I would be much more interested to hear how the less well known actors of L.A. are doing. How are the people who had a reoccurring spot on “The office” doing? It’s always more interesting to hear about the underdog.
